The Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship
The mission of the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship
is to train and develop leaders who will make high tech ventures successful. The center offers educational programs to inspire, train, and coach new generations of entrepreneurs from all parts of MIT.
The MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition
Each year, MIT holds a $100K competition
in which students develop business plans to establish new companies. HST students who have entered the competition, some of whom have been members of winning teams, have found it to be an excellent way to "learn while doing." A number of HST student-led companies have been founded as a result of this competition.
The MIT IDEAS Global Challenge
The MIT IDEAS Global Challenge connects students with the passion and talent to improve the world with the experience and resources of the MIT community worldwide. They support innovation and entrepreneurship as public service through an annual competition that awards up to $10,000 per team for the best ideas to tackle barriers to well being.
The MIT Entrepreneurs Club
The MIT Entrepreneurs Club, focuses on developing all aspects of science and technology business creation through weekly meetings, for-credit seminars, panels, and workshops.
