An MIT alumnus and an incoming student at the MIT Sloan School of Management have been named recipients of the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans for 2012.
Darya Nachinkina, who will join MIT Sloan's MBA program in the fall; and Michael Slama SM ’08, PhD ’11 are among the 30 young scholars granted the fellowships, which support the graduate studies of immigrants and children of immigrants.
Michael earned a PhD in 2011 from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology in the Speech and Hearing Bioscience and Technology Program. Read more here...
