Work is in progress in the following areas: development of a portable (wearable/ambulatory) voice monitor with biofeedback capability; development of an improved artificial electrolarynx communication system with neural interface (a voice neural prosthesis); development of an automated psychoacoustics-based voice quality assessment (APVA) system; development of a laryngeal endoscope with calibrated sizing function.
